Can my child take time off school in term time?
Absence from school during term time, other than for illness, would only be authorised in exceptional circumstances. Please read the school's policy on attendance https://www.loddonprimary.co.uk/about-us/governance/policies before requesting absence during term time and include evidence of the exceptional circumstances as part of your application.

Where can I find the latest menu for School lunches?
The latest menu is available at the bottom of the School Meals page under "Current Parents".
What is the school's uniform policy?

In addition to usual uniform providers the PTA offers regular second hand uniform sales for families to buy uniform please look out for their adverts and/or ask about this at the school office.
What should I do if I think my child has Covid?
As you would with other illnesses (such as chicken pox, flu or sickness bugs) you should stay away from school if you are unwell. Loddon Primary School ask that you keep unwell children at home to recover.
Covid Guidance as of the 1st April 2022.
• adults with the symptoms of a respiratory infection, and who have a high temperature or feel unwell, should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they feel well enough to resume normal activities and they no longer have a high temperature.
• adults with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when they are most infectious. For children and young people aged 18 and under, the advice is 3 days.
• children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should continue to stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school, college or childcare when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.
